You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing websites to enhance product marketing strategies. Your expertise in PHP, HTML, JavaScript, WordPress, and optional knowledge in Ruby on Rails will contribute to the success of our online presence. The primary focus of this role will be to actively engage in WordPress projects and implement SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve overall search engine rankings.

Role & responsibilities

Web Development:

• Utilize your proficiency in PHP, HTML, and JavaScript to develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites.
• Actively participate in WordPress projects, ensuring the successful implementation of themes, plugins, and custom functionalities.

WordPress Expertise:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective WordPress solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.

SEO Optimization:

• Implement and execute SEO strategies to enhance the visibility of our products/services in search engines.
• Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, and backlink analysis to improve search engine rankings.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Utilize tools such as Google Analytics to monitor website performance and user behavior, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Generate regular reports on SEO performance, outlining key metrics and areas for enhancement.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and SEO best practices to ensure our online presence remains competitive.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in web development, with a strong focus on PHP, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Proven track record of actively working on WordPress projects, including theme development, customization, and plugin integration.
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is a plus but not mandatory.
