Position: Technical Project Manager at Remote EST and CST Only
6 months contract
Cincinnati, OH/Charlotte, NC
Occasionally visit to client location.
- This role is within the Associate Technology pillar, supporting the Infrastructure PMO
- This PM will need to drive and push delivery, hit the ground running, and be autonomous – looking for the best of the best here!
- The ideal candidate will have experience working on large corporate technical and security projects, having worked for companies like Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.
- Candidates that are local to Cincinnati and Charlotte region
- The current team has 7 people in Cincinnati and 6 people in Charlotte.
- Some travel to the Blue Ash Technical center may be required – nothing set at this time, but candidates should be open to this if that are not already in the area
This Level 3 Technology Project Manager will partner with the internal business, software developers, and authentication engineers to migrate Kroger s legacy SiteMinder platform to modern authentication platforms (Ping, Azure) The Project Manager will be expected to work with all application owners to drive the migration to the new platform. The Project Manager will work with and receive guidance from a lead Kroger Program Manager.

Proven problem solving and organizational skills.
Waterfall and agile project delivery experience
Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and update program-level schedules with individual workstream project using actual and forecasts and manage deviations from any plans.
Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented and vigorously pursued to deliver the final product.
Provide leadership to workstream leads and stakeholders. Apply conflict resolution skills to resolve project issues daily.
Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues daily.
Weekly status reporting in addition to daily progress updates.
Work with peers to develop and drive goals, define technical specifications and detailed implementation plans for project.
Effectively apply skills to impact project decisions.
Focus on the benefits to be realized and the outcomes to be achieved.
Provide coordination of complex planning activities and optimize the use of resources (human and material).
Provide for an integration of outcomes with on-going business operations.
