Our team is seeking an experienced insurance restoration/disaster restoration/property insurance adjuster for this role of reconstruction project manager. XACTIMATE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

INSURANCE RESTORATION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Reconstruction project management or property insurance adjusting).

1. Customer Satisfaction

  • Be involved and engaging with the customer.
  • Be responsible for customer service and management of the customer experience.
  • Compile and resolve punch list items.
  • Perform final walk-through with customer.
  • Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer.
  • Manage all warranty activities.

2. Project Initiation

  • Inspections will be set according to your availability by our office staff (you work closely with the office staff regarding your own time management.)
  • Meet and greet the customer.
  • Discuss the estimating, construction, and permitting process.
  • Set proper timeline expectations with the customer.
  • Educate customers on industry best construction processes (as needed).

3. Project Planning

  • Inspect property for damages.
  • Use Docusketch 3D imaging tool to create accurate floor plans.
  • Use Xactimate estimating software to create repair scope of work.
  • Obtain customer agreement on the repair scope of work.
  • Set and review budgets (for subcontractors and in-house staff).
  • Ensure proper permits are acquired

4. Project Execution

  • Create project schedule and timeline.
  • Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers.
  • Negotiate terms and set expectations with subcontractors, in-house staff, and customers.
  • Plan, organize, and manage in-house crews and subcontractors.
  • Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
  • Ensure all final permit sign offs are complete and a certificate of occupancy is issued (as needed.)

5. General

  • XACTIMATE estimating software experience required.
  • Insurance Restoration/Insurance Adjusting industry experience required.
  • Basic computer skills are required (email, web-based solutions, Word, Excel, PDF)
  • Be familiar with and be able to execute all roles and responsibilities of the Reconstruction Project Manager.
  • Superb customer service track record.
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred
  • High school diploma/GED

***PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE***

  • Walking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders.
  • This is a full-time position, working 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week. Travel is required and is primarily local. This is an office-based position when not in the field meeting customers, inspecting damages, coordinating with subcontractors, doing material selections and purchases, meeting building official inspections, and sourcing additional subcontractors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
