- Assist and perform field surveys of existing buildings and systems
- Be exposed to customers and our design/build team to prepare conceptual drawings and estimates
- Assist with producing shop drawings and as-built drawings
- Assist in project management
- Assist with system and equipment selection
- Assemble material submittals and prepare O&M Manuals
- Coordinate with field personnel to ensure information flow
- Attend progress meetings
Specific Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability with AutoCAD (will gain experience with HydraCAD, or other specialized fire sprinkler layout software)
Qualifications/Skills:
- Skilled in free hand and mechanical lettering and drawings
- Good planning and problem-solving skills
- Good math skills
- Able to understand big-picture issues
- Good communication, written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Professional and detail-oriented
- Proficient with use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Reliable with ability to complete tasks within deadlines and communicate results back to the team
- Possess a progressive, positive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve the Company’s overall goals.
