Position Description

We are seeking a candidate proficient in UX/UI design and front-end development, passionate about web technologies and capable of translating designs into custom code. The ideal candidate will work on diverse design and development projects.

Requirements:

– Proficiency in front-end development with the ability to develop designs into custom code

– Expert in frameworks, platforms, and new CMS

– Ability to xommunicate professionally with clients

Responsibilities

– Develop custom WordPress themes with custom page templates based on provided designs and copy.

– Create user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

– Ensure responsive design principles for optimal viewing across devices.

– Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to integrate UI components.

– Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards.

– Conduct thorough testing and debugging for website functionality and performance.

– Manage development, staging, and production stages for website launches.

– Handle day-to-day client requests and updates.

Qualifications

– Min. 6 years of experience as a front-end web developer with expertise in UI/UX design implementation.

– HTML, PHP, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery; experience with React, Next.js, Vue.js or similar frameworks required.

– Ability to develop websites using Headless CMS or custom WordPress themes.

– Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and ADA compliance.

– Experience with AWS (Lightsail, EC2, S3) and other cloud platforms.

– Familiarity with Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Klaviyo, or similar for email campaigns.

– Skills in enhancing user experience through video, animations, and transitions.

– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

– Communication via Slack, Slack Meetings, or Google Meet.

– Proficiency in project management tools like Asana or Monday.com.

Position Details

– Part-time position with potential for full-time.

– Remote work with responsibility for meeting deadlines.

– Hourly rate based on experience.
