We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a BI/ Database Developer in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry. Located in BLUE ASH, Ohio, United States, this role involves the development and management of databases, improving the usability, scalability, efficiency, and security of Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop BI reports and dashboards by understanding the business requirements, designing the data model, and developing visualizations that provide actionable insights.
Manage data sets to ensure their cleanliness, accuracy, and security.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
Train end-users on how to use the developed BI tools effectively.
Stay updated with the latest features, updates, and best practices in the field of database development and leverage them effectively.
Troubleshoot and maintain the developed databases and BI tools to ensure their smooth operation.
Utilize skills such as Microsoft Power BI, Power BI, Azure SQL Database, SSIS SSRS, SSRS, Dax Technologies, and Microsoft Business Intelligence to perform job duties effectively.
Requirements
Possession of relevant experience in the role of a Database Developer within the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance sectors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI technologies.
Experience with Azure SQL Database.
Demonstrable skills in SSIS SSRS and SSRS.
Proficient in using Microsoft Business Intelligence.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and new emerging trends.
