We are looking to hire a talented Sr. Cloud Engineer!

The Sr. Cloud Engineer will be responsible for operationally supporting all the systems and sub-systems for the Azure cloud platform. Works closely with Product Management, Development, QA and Engineering to manage, monitor and optimize re-platformed, migrated, and refactored applications. Responsible for ensuring platform consistency is met through automation and adherence to defined standards. Participates in planning, implementation, and growth of the Azure platform. Become a subject matter expert in one or more cloud sub-systems such as security, monitoring, application programming interface (API) gateway, networking, or database.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• A minimum of five years’ technical experience working with Azure cloud platform.
• Demonstrable experience designing and implementing solutions with the following Azure services: Storage, Message/Event Buses, PaaS Compute, Container Orchestration, and Virtual Networks
• Demonstrable experience working in scripting and markup languages such as Python, JSON, and YAML & management tools such as PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager (ARM)/ Bicep, Terraform, Ansible
• Understanding of relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (Document)

• Can work effectively within a team environment and resolve conflict
• Strong oral, written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

The starting salary range for this full-time position is $111800 – $139800 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
