Oracle Cloud Project Manager | Contract (6 to 9 months) | USA, Remote

The Oracle Cloud Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering projects related to Oracle Cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, or enhancements. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of Oracle implementation projects, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including business sponsors, project team members, vendors, and senior management.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and status updates to ensure alignment on project objectives, requirements, and progress.
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams comprised of business analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Manage project resources, including allocation, utilization, and performance evaluation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Oracle solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design scalable and efficient Oracle solutions that meet business needs and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and standards for Oracle implementation projects, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Ensure thorough testing of Oracle solutions to validate functionality, performance, and usability, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
• Develop change management plans and strategies to facilitate user adoption of Oracle solutions, including communication, training, and support activities.
• Coordinate training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on Oracle functionality, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, computer science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certifications.
• Extensive experience in project management, particularly in Oracle Cloud implementations or related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud offerings, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle SaaS applications, and Oracle Cloud Platform services.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong vendor management skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
