Project Manager (Remote)

Responsible for strategically leading the planning, execution, and delivery of transformative analytics projects within defined timelines and budgets. This role requires adept leadership of cross-functional teams, adeptly navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, and driving actionable insights to fuel organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise , project management acumen, and exceptional communication skills to ensure the success of critical data initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams in deploying enterprise-wide projects and programs, adeptly managing both internal staff and external vendors to achieve project objectives .
• Program Management Proficiency: Extensive experience managing diverse programs and multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously, including those with multi- million dollar budgets.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders, including data scientists, developers, business analysts, executives, and end users, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate project progress and outcomes effectively.
• Data Project Expertise: Prior experience managing data-related projects, such as data integration, data migration, data governance, or analytics implementation, is highly desirable.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitate meetings and workshops, document project requirements, and provide status updates and reports.

Project Management Excellence: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) to plan, execute, and monitor project activities, allocate resources, track progress, and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Oversight: Strategically oversee the planning, implementation, and introduction of data analytics projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder and customer needs while delivering within budget and desired outcomes.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks, managing project tracking through clear and concise status reports.
• Resource Management: Direct responsibility for project budget and resources, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Team Leadership: Assemble project staff, manage personnel administration, and oversee indirect resources, including consulting resources.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a central point of contact for functional managers, collaborating with end users and business unit managers to support applications and projects.
• Reporting and Communication: Provide accurate and timely project/team status reports to management, Steering Committee, and Project Management Office (PMO).
• Vendor Management: Manage vendors, review billings, and ensure the integrity of deliverables.
• Quality Assurance: Define acceptability criteria with project customers/users, guiding and overseeing all project team members in their tasks.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes, ensuring adherence to defined project management methodologies and PMO processes, with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
