Job Description:

Are you a seasoned Business Development Manager with a passion for driving sales, building client relationships, and achieving business growth? TECXA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and fostering strong customer relationships to ensure the success of our sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales leads.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Create sales forecasts and plans that align with the overall company direction.
  • Develop compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches for potential clients.
  • Drive relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) with urgency to promote business opportunities from one stage to another with a relentless focus on winning and closing the opportunity.
  • Negotiate with multiple stakeholders from commencement to closure.
  • Ensure timely drafting of proposals and agreements and successfully execute kick-offs for new sales.
  • Use market insights to adapt the sales strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Highlight and demonstrate excellent follow-up and communication skills.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Leverage existing account portfolio in the IT sector to expand business opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage client relationships and sales activities effectively.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management.
  • Proven track record of success in international sales and market expansion.
  • Strong background in IT product sales and market development.
  • Experience and exposure to IT technologies and solutions covering Blockchain and Cybersecurity.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
  • Ability to tell a compelling story around technology to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide group of technical and business leaders.
  • Fully or partly qualified in an IT or IS related qualification would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a global organization and navigate diverse cultures and time zones.
