Senior Java Developer (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team focused on the development of laboratory information management systems and engineering support.

This is an exciting opportunity to engage in meaningful work that impacts critical software applications within scientific and engineering domains.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Java applications for laboratory information management systems and engineering support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues
• Implement and advance CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
• Craft clean, efficient, and scalable code that adheres to best practices
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support software lifecycle

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL and hands-on experience with Gitlab
• Capability to integrate and manage APIs, preferably RESTful
• Qualifications in software engineering or related field
• Flexibility to work remotely with strong communication and collaboration skills
• B2+ Level of English proficiency

Nice to have

• Experience in laboratory information management systems
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Background in DevOps practices
