The Role
As a Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in educating our stakeholders about our cutting-edge products and solutions. You will conduct and deliver product trainings, seminars, workshops, and schools, both live and virtual, for a diverse audience including distributors, security professionals, systems integrators, architects, end-users, and internal employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate comprehensive technical and product training for all our brands.
- Organize and lead training seminars and workshops for customers and local sales offices.
- Manage the established training budget effectively.
- Collaborate with the Training Content Development Manager to create and maintain detailed lesson plans and materials.
- Provide logistical support for training sessions at our centers and customer locations.
- Stay updated with the latest adult training methods and tools.

- Skill in organizing diverse information into cohesive, effective content.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building networks and relationships.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in training and development, education, communications, organizational development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training, teaching, sales, or related fields.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware, with a focus on access control and electro-mechanical products.
- Experience in conducting instructor-led training workshops, both classroom-based and hands-on.
- Experience in developing e-Learning and instructor-led training modules is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with e-learning platforms, learning management systems, Articulate/Rise 360, and Salesforce is advantageous.
- Knowledge of tools such as Docebo LXP, Adobe AEM, InDesign, Captivate, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, and video editing software is desired.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and kneel.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs of sample and display materials.
- Must be available for the assigned schedule and willing to work additional hours as needed.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as required by the company.
Compensation
- Salary Range: (80,000 – )100,000.
