Our client is a forward-thinking agrochemical company specializing in the development, formulation, and global marketing of branded crop protection and plant nutrition products.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager – Dach for their growing team.
- It is a remote position, and the applicants can be based on any of the Dach Conturies (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)

Job Purpose
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with clients in the Dach region, and achieving sales targets. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and market penetration. As Sales Manager Dach you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth and market expansion. With a keen focus on Biostimulants and Specialty Fertilizers, you will lead a team of technical sales promoters, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role demands a dynamic individual with a proven track record in agricultural sales leadership, a strategic mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the comprehensive commercial management of the clients in the assigned region, acting as the main point of communication in the daily management of the account
- Devise and implement a dynamic sales strategy tailored to the Agriculture Division, strategically aligning with overarching company goals
- Update client profiles and create new leads and opportunities using the corporate CRM system
- Accelerate revenue growth by relentlessly pursuing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer networks, and cultivating enduring customer relationships through value-driven sales techniques
- Set ambitious sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and provide strategic guidance to the team to achieve and exceed goals
- Conduct comprehensive market analyses to stay ahead of industry trends, anticipate market dynamics, and proactively identify areas for growth and development
- Analyze customer needs and feedback to adapt product offerings dynamically, ensuring they are finely tuned to meet and exceed market demands
- Utilize market intelligence to provide the sales team with actionable insights and strategies for effective customer engagement
- Lead by example, moving and developing a high-performance team through hands-on coaching and support to maximize individual and collective sales potential
- Install a collaborative, results-oriented culture within the team, fostering healthy competition and driving continuous improvement
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management skills
- Identify and create strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the agriculture industry, including distributors, retailers, and agribusinesses
- Leverage technical and product expertise to provide value-added solutions to customers, positioning the Product Portfolio as indispensable assets
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management
- Frequently report about region performance within set reporting structure
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and optimize resource allocation
Candidate Requirements
- Our Ideal candidate has an established network across all distribution levels within the agricultural or biotechnology industry, focusing on AG input products, preferably Biostimulants, Biopesticides, and Specialty Fertilizers
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets, preferably in the agricultural or biotechnology sector
- Strong ability to develop new business opportunities and engage with new customers
- Proven experience negotiating complex agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective commercial strategies that align with organizational goals
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges and make informed decisions under pressure
- Strong negation and communication skills
- +10 years’ Experience in agricultural or biological sales
- Fluency in German and English
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Agriculture, or related field
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices is a plus
