Software Developer (Remote)

Job Responsibilities

• Member of a small team developing and updating software applications.
• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
• Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
• Maintain databases within an application area while working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Responsible for researching, testing, building, and integrating new products or major enhancements.

Required Education And Experience

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical degree is required.
• At least two years of experience developing systems code using C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript.
• At least two years experience developing software on agile development projects.

Additional Information

• HTML5 web application development desired
• MS Server, Apache, Python and MongoDB experience
• DoD Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience
• Ability to obtain US DoD Top Secret clearance required
• Some travel may be required (approximately 1 trip per quarter)

Target salary range: $75k-140k. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
