Job Title: Senior Product Manager, Open Banking & Payments

Position Overview

The company is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead new product development and grow value-added services within the Open Banking and payments space. This role involves driving the development of APIs that connect customers to thousands of banks, facilitating smoother user journeys, reducing payment fees, and offering new personalized services.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution for the Open Banking & Payments product portfolio, measured by OKRs/KPIs, and driven by continuous improvements based on customer and market insights.
• Engage with the Open Banking ecosystem, including fintechs, banks, regulators, and operators, to assess new opportunities and develop new products.
• Work closely with Product Owners and the engineering team to deliver on the strategy, prioritize product backlog, and manage the entire product lifecycle from discovery to launch.
• Define and track product KPIs and team OKRs to measure quality, success, and impact.
• Manage the prioritization of portfolio initiatives, including roadmap communication to internal stakeholders and customers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to understand customer needs and integrate feedback into world-class product offerings.
• Manage the go-to-market journey for new APIs, partnering with the Commercial Team to ensure successful launches and user adoption.

Lifecycle Management

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of products related to Open Banking and payments, ensuring continuous improvement and iteration based on user feedback.
• Use data analytics and insights to drive decisions, particularly around payment products, and measure success to inform future development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager, particularly within the fintech or payments sectors, with a deep understanding of Open Banking and API design.
• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end product lifecycles, from concept to launch, in highly regulated industries like payments or ID&V.
• Strong strategic and technical leadership, with the ability to align product strategy with business objectives.
• Experience in managing products targeted at technical users, such as developers or those in the SaaS/PaaS space.
• Ability to engage with customers to inform product strategy, and experience building products that solve customer problems.
• A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable managing ambiguity.
• Strong decision-making and prioritization skills, especially when trade-offs are involved.
