Position Overview:

Axya is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Leader to join our team. As a Sales Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and managing a growing sales team. You will also be an individual contributor, actively leading from the front and closing deals. This is a unique opportunity for someone who has worked in a scaling startup from the seed to Series A stage, helping shape the sales strategy, and directly impacting the company’s future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Sales Team: Oversee, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed targets.
  • Individual Contributor: Take ownership of key accounts, leading by example in driving revenue and closing high-value deals.
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand Axya’s market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Sales Operations: Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets to drive top-line growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on goals, share insights, and optimize the customer journey.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze market trends, track performance, and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with Axya’s offerings and industry trends to effectively position and sell our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success as an individual contributor and sales leader in a high-growth startup, ideally having scaled from seed to Series A.
  • Experience in building, leading, and scaling a high-performance sales team.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including pipeline management, CRM usage, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
