Position Overview
Our client, a global leader in the online video sector, is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Strategic Account Executive to drive sales and partner relationships in the ASEAN region. This is a quota-carrying role where you will be responsible for selling innovative solutions to media and enterprise customers across countries like Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
As the Strategic Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in helping organizations leverage technology to grow and expand their businesses. We are looking for an experienced sales professional who is driven, organized, and possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure customer lead intake, outbound activity, and prioritization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and media/enterprise customers across ASEAN.
- Provide product and solution support to partners and drive mutual goals through collaboration.
- Successfully close high-value partnerships via strong negotiation and relationship-building efforts.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage Value-Added Resellers (VAR) and OEM partners to expand market share.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets on a quarterly basis.
- Create compelling value propositions for the use of the company’s platform across media and enterprise use cases.
- Collaborate with virtual territory teams to execute sales strategies.
- Prepare territory plans, deal overviews, and contract summaries for key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in direct sales, ideally in a leading software or enterprise platform sales company.
- Proven experience in media/enterprise/streaming SaaS platforms.
- Expertise in managing channel partners and channel sales.
- Domain expertise in ad-supported media or video use cases is strongly preferred.
- Experience in APAC sales, particularly in Southeast Asia (SEA).
- Demonstrated ability to drive engagements at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects.
- Strong presentation, communication, and demonstration skills.
- Proven track record of closing six-figure deals and consistently exceeding sales goals.
- Deep knowledge of go-to-market models such as sell-with, sell-to, co-branding, and OEM.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
