General Purpose:
The Account Manager II (SMB) is primarily responsible for promoting and selling across all TPx Product Service Categories. Ensures that the proper solution is presented to customers, solving their business problem. Focuses on illustrating that TPx is the easiest MSP to do business with while bringing peace of mind to TPx customers. Meets or exceeds monthly quota by assessing customers’ needs; engaging with internal resources to articulate the value of TPx as a business continuity partner; and winning/securing sales based on one or more product service categories.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies managed services sales opportunities within a base of TPx accounts – small to medium size businesses with up to $2,000 MRR.
- Consistently meets or exceeds monthly sales targets/quota.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of TPx’s product service categories to assess customers’ business needs and solve that business challenge with the correct TPx service offering.
- Educates customers on the value of TPx as a business continuity partner.
- Minimizes customer churn by providing consistent points of contact to existing customers throughout their customer lifecycle.
- Develops and implements an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
- Delivers customer aligned and informative sales presentations to customers articulating the value of TPx and its services.
- Ensures improvement in company’s margins following marketing and sales guidelines.
- Engages in sales forecasts and ensures achievement of sales targets.
- Ensures that solutions are successfully and timely delivered to customers according to their specifications.
- Regularly communicates with internal and external stakeholders on the progress of initiatives employed on sales and customer activities.
- Track key account metrics via TPx sales management systems.
- Effectively develops relationships across multiple customer contacts.
- Consistently engages customers in a positive and helpful manner to promote a best-in-class NPS score and customer experience.
- Assists customers with opening portal tickets and leverages cross-functional relationships to effectively escalate and advocate customer resolution on the following issues: moves, additions, changes, billing issues, and technical support needs.
Other Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Requires travel up to 50% including the use of a personal vehicle and domestic travel involving overnight stay.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated recent experience in MSP sales/account management with track record of closing net-new customers/logos and the ability to work through a dynamic network.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing small to medium size customer accounts with up to $2,000 MRR.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of solutions that are client-focused and based on the needs of customers.

- Must possess valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
