As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our team.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Product Manager with a strong background in the EdTech space, who is deeply familiar with the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience managing educational products from conception to launch, with a keen ability to align product strategy with business and educational goals. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs, enhance the learning experience, and drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
· Develop and articulate a clear product vision aligned with Academian’s overall strategy, with a particular focus on solving educational challenges.
· Identify and prioritize product opportunities based on market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis in the EdTech space.
· Create and maintain a product roadmap that communicates the strategic direction and timelines to stakeholders.
Product Development Lifecycle Management:
· Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation through launch and beyond, specifically within the EdTech domain.
· Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to define product requirements, manage backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of features that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
· Coordinate the development process, including sprint planning, release management, and post-launch support, with a focus on meeting the needs of educators, students, and institutional clients.
Customer Focus and Market Research:
· Conduct market research and gather customer insights, particularly from educators, students, and institutions, to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities.
· Engage with educational stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points, ensuring that the product exceeds expectations.
· Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape in EdTech to keep the product innovative and competitive.
Stakeholder Communication:
· Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and communication.
· Present product updates, roadmap progress, and key metrics to internal stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams.
· Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure product launches are successful, with a focus on the education sector.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
· Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future product development.
· Analyze product performance post-launch and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
· Drive continuous improvement by collecting feedback from educators and iterating on product features and functionality.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
· 3-5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing products through the entire development lifecycle, preferably in the EdTech industry.
· Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile product development.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
· Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
· Passion for building products that enhance education and drive meaningful learning outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 – ₹2,500,000.00 per year
