Your Role
As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your deep expertise to oversee larger, more intricate areas within the Risk and Compliance space. You’ll manage multiple project teams, guiding their day-to-day operations and ensuring high-quality deliverables with limited oversight from Directors. Your role will include strategizing with clients, creating actionable recommendations, and ensuring the seamless execution of complex initiatives.
As a Senior Manager at StrategyBRIX, you’ll partner with some of the industry’s most talented professionals, tackling projects that shape the businesses of the future. What you’ll do
Success in this role will require a comprehensive understanding of the Risk and Compliance environment within the financial services industry, a passion for maintaining superior standards, and the ability to recommend forward-thinking processes and technological improvements.
A Senior Manager is expected to inspire and guide project teams, fostering a culture of empowerment and accountability at all levels of the organization. Your leadership will influence not just project outcomes but the development of your team members as well.
Your responsibilities
- Lead client engagements and drive projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals
- Develop and oversee detailed project plans, establishing clear priorities and organizational structures
- Take full ownership of project delivery, including timelines, quality, scope, and budget
- Identify and manage potential risks and challenges, escalating them as necessary to Directors
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of client policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards
- Define and implement financial crime compliance programs, including governance frameworks and operational processes
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative analysis to solve complex client issues with independent judgment
- Contribute to internal strategic initiatives, including product and business development
- Stay informed about industry trends to maintain and enhance business acumen
Minimum requirements
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a financial institution or consulting firm within compliance, legal, technology, or audit-related roles
- Strong knowledge of BSA/AML, economic sanctions, and risk assessments in financial services
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, including client-facing roles with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously, ensuring high performance and quality standards
- Superior written communication and analytical problem-solving skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced consulting environment, with the ability to manage diverse, complex projects
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in payments, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors
- Familiarity with Financial Crime systems
- Google Suite proficiency
- Compliance training or teaching experience
- CAMS, CFE, or other compliance-related certifications
