Freelance Sr Front End Developer (Remote)

Summary:

Metajive is seeking a talented and experienced Senior-level Front-End Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be fully remote and based in Argentina. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with a passion for crafting exceptional digital experiences. You will collaborate with our design and development team to build innovative and high-performing websites and web applications. * Experience with Sanity CMS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue & Nuxt).
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to translate designs into functional, high-quality code
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Optimize website performance and user experience
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with tech leads, producers, and clients to ensure project success

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional front-end web development experience
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver pixel-perfect designs
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Expert-level knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue & Nuxt
• CMS systems (Sanity, WordPress, Statamic, Contentful, and others)
• SaSS, WebGL, GSAP, GraphQL
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong understanding of visual concepts
• Experience with crafting animation-driven web experiences
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with backend development (Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails) is a plus

Salary Description:

$17.00 – $20.00 USD per hour (estimated $40k per year) is the salary range for this position. There is flexibility based on the candidate’s qualifications. This represents only a portion of the overall package.
