We are seeking a dynamic Business Development & Asset Raising Specialist to join our team in Dubai, a key financial hub that bridges the traditional finance and crypto ecosystems. This role will help us scale our assets under management (AUM) across both our crypto and traditional finance offerings.
Job Summary:
The Business Development & Asset Raising Specialist will play a critical role in driving the growth of our funds. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both the cryptocurrency and traditional finance markets, with a proven track record of raising assets and building strong relationships with institutional investors, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other key stakeholders. Additionally, experience in the GCC or Dubai market is highly desirable to help leverage the regional investor landscape. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional sales and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Raising:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive asset-raising strategy for our crypto and traditional finance funds.
- Identify and engage with potential investors, including institutional investors, family offices, private banks, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Conduct presentations and pitch our funds to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value proposition and differentiators of our products.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the firm’s presence in the GCC and Dubai markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored investment solutions that meet the specific needs of different investor segments.
- Attend industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote the firm’s offerings.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential investors.
- Provide ongoing support and communication to clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
- Regularly update clients on fund performance, market trends, and new product developments.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments to inform business strategy and asset-raising activities.
- Prepare regular reports on asset-raising activities, market feedback, and investor sentiment to inform the executive team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials to support asset-raising efforts.
- Collaborate with the portfolio management and research teams to ensure a deep understanding of the firm’s products and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Expertise in asset raising, business development, or sales within the financial services industry, with a focus on both cryptocurrency and traditional finance markets. Experience in the GCC or Dubai markets is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of both cryptocurrency markets and traditional finance products.
- Previous experience in successfully raising assets and building investor relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); French and other additional languages are a plus.
Salary:
$60,000 annually, with significant potential for performance-based bonuses and commissions.
