Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our esteemed environmental team. This fully remote position is designed for professionals with extensive experience in managing pipeline projects, particularly those involving natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation as outlined in their resumes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee multiple projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Collaborate with diverse teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
Manage project scope, budget, scheduling, and forecasting.
Participate in business development initiatives and attend relevant industry conferences.
Conduct field reviews and ensure compliance through inspections.

Required Skills

In-depth knowledge of environmental licensing and permitting processes associated with pipelines.
Strong comprehension of FERC regulations and federal environmental standards.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Capability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting for pipeline projects.
Professional certifications are regarded as beneficial.
