We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data solutions that support our business objectives. Importantly, the candidate must be adept at collaborating with business teams to translate their needs into effective data-driven solutions that propel organizational goals. The Data Engineer will lead projects and proactively contribute to our strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines to support analytics and data integration needs.
• Develop and maintain data models and databases optimized for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Implement data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Lead the evaluation and integration of new tools and technologies to keep our data solutions modern and efficient.
• Continuously improve our processes by implementing best practices in data management and engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering/analytics engineering with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong expertise in SQL and experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query).
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of serverless architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points –

• We need a candidate with strong SQL including SSRS and SSIS background as that is where our current systems lie, with experience on migrating to Snowflake.
• Bonus points for Azure SQL
