Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with client stakeholders to thoroughly understand their needs and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality Microsoft Security projects.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the comprehensive project lifecycle, from initial planning through to deployment and ongoing support of Microsoft Security solutions.
- Hands-On Deployment: Implement Microsoft Security Solutions, including Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Arc.
- Client Assessments: Assess client environments and provide tailored security recommendations.
- Incident Response: Assist in incident response efforts in the event of security breaches.
- Documentation: Create deployment models and templates for Microsoft Security projects, and support the preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Business Development: Present Microsoft Security Solutions to clients, create proposals, and drive new business opportunities.
- Customer Engagement: Foster strong customer relationships, stay informed on Microsoft 365 and Azure security capabilities, and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document and disseminate technical best practices, contribute to content creation such as blog posts and webinars, and collaborate with Microsoft technical resources.
Required Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and other Microsoft security solutions.
- Design & Deployment: Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft security technologies, including Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft Information Protection.
- Security Monitoring: Experience in security monitoring for Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Azure Expertise: Strong skills in Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and related services.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing environments, learn quickly, and demonstrate personal initiative.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of creating technical documentation and presentations.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and execute test plans for Microsoft technology integration.
- Certifications: AZ-500 or MS-500 certification is required.
- Consulting Experience: Previous consulting experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Standards Familiarity: Familiarity with security standards such as PCI, HIPAA, NIST, or CIS is beneficial.
- Risk Management: Strong understanding of risk assessment, security assessment, and vulnerability management utilizing Microsoft solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in security engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel is necessary.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary range of (150,000 to )170,000 per year.
