About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Content Editor to support our projects with leading US consumer goods brands. The ideal candidate will have experience with Contentful or similar CMS platforms, possess intermediate or higher proficiency in English, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and entering content, ensuring it aligns with our new design system and meets brand and legal standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and Manage Copy Documents: Utilize existing site copy, reformat as necessary to fit within the new design system, and ensure consistency and quality across all content.
• Writing and Editing: Develop on-page content, meta descriptions, and revise copy documents as requested by the brand and legal teams.
• Content Entry: Enter content into the CMS (Contentful), manage image assets, migrate PDFs, and adjust page content based on QA and UAT feedback.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and other team members to ensure that content meets project requirements and deadlines.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in content editing, writing, or related fields.
• CMS Proficiency: Experience with Contentful or similar CMS platforms.
• Writing Skills: Strong writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML and digital content best practices.
• Communication: Intermediate or higher English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactivity: Demonstrated ability to be proactive, collaborative, and work independently.
• Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Amenable to work the night shift.

Nice to Have

• Consumer Goods Experience: Previous experience working with brands in the consumer goods sector.
• SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO best practices and how to apply them to content.
• Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and agile methodologies.

Additional Information

• Salary Offered: Commensurate with experience

• Work Arrangement: Remote (subject to certain conditions and requirements)
• Shift Schedule: Night (specific hours TBD); 9 hours a day, 5 days a week
