We are Ncatalysts, a creative agency focused on delivering top-notch visual content. We are currently looking for a skilled Video Editor and 2D Animator to join our remote team. If you have a passion for storytelling through video editing and animation, this role is perfect for you!
Role Overview:
As a Video Editor & 2D Animator, you will be responsible for producing engaging video content and high-quality 2D animations for our clients across various industries. You will collaborate closely with our creative team to edit video footage, add motion graphics, and create animations that bring projects to life.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality final products.
- Create 2D animations and motion graphics to complement video content.
- Develop storyboards and animations based on project briefs and client requirements.
- Add visual effects, transitions, and sound to enhance the storytelling of videos.
- Revise and refine video edits and animations based on feedback.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand guidelines and meets project deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing and animation trends and software tools.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing and 2D animation.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong skills in 2D animation using software like Adobe After Effects or Toon Boom Harmony.
- Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design.
- A solid portfolio showcasing both video editing and 2D animation work.
- Excellent storytelling, visual design, and conceptual skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with a remote team.
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of color grading and video optimization for various platforms.
- Experience with video editing for social media content.
- Basic knowledge of 3D animation.
