In this pivotal role, you will engage with the Art Director and leverage your design expertise across a diverse array of projects encompassing print, digital, and multimedia formats. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering engaging and impactful designs that resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present compelling visual concepts that effectively convey ideas through various design elements.
• Create digital assets for a range of platforms, including applications, social media, and display advertising.
• Work collaboratively with the Art Director and marketing/communications team to support campus stakeholders with branded initiatives.
• Generate design options that adhere to brand guidelines while ensuring relevance.
• Test and enhance design assets based on performance metrics and user feedback.
• Contribute to additional projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and creativity.

Required Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a professional and positive demeanor.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Adobe XD (Figma experience is a plus).
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing assignments and priorities.
• Previous experience in production management or vendor collaboration is preferred.
• Photo editing skills are an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel between campus locations as necessary.
• Demonstrated success in a collaborative, matrixed work environment.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a capacity for leading design execution.
• Exceptional design aesthetics with a meticulous eye for detail.

Qualifications

• A proven track record in visual graphic design, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of work.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in visual design, with at least 2 years focused on client relations.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, digital design, or a related field.
• Proficiency with the aforementioned design software is essential.

Compensation And Benefits

• Salary range: (60,000 – )65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
