What is Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS) and its’ purpose?

The SAS Team aims to leverage the full potential of each Amazon Seller, helping them to navigate the increasing complexity of the eCommerce space. SAS team provides in-depth strategic consultancy using a data-driven, collaborative, and Customer-focused approach to achieve commercial goals of Amazon Sellers. Our holistic service offering includes topics such as International expansion, Portfolio Optimization, Fulfillment Strategy, Product Presentation, B2B Sales, Promotions, Advertising Strategy and Brand Building. In parallel to this strategic support, Sellers also receive enhanced operational support by a separate team of operational experts.

What is the role of SAS Ads Program Manager (PM) and its’ purpose?

The role of the SAS Ads Program Manager (PM) involves supporting SAS Sellers and Marketplace Consultants with Advertising topics. It requires collaborating with SAS business and Advertising teams, aiming to reduce the gap between Seller expectation and available solutions by identifying and developing new initiatives. The role focuses on standardizing processes to enhance Marketplace Consultant efficiency, defining SMART goals, creating actionable roadmaps, and aligning Advertising strategies with Advertising organizations (Sales and Marketing). Moreover, the PM works to improve the Marketplace Consultant experience through data-driven insights and collaborative partner work-streams. Last, the role aims to protect and enhance the Seller Experience by proactively identifying pain points and optimizing service delivery.

Munich, Madrid, London, or Luxembourg

Key job responsibilities

A Program Manager is a part of the Business Operations team within the central EU SAS Product Team.

  • Work with SAS Business to define the tasks/processes that are required to support the strategy/goals and determine the level of automation required to execute.
  • Support SAS Business in Marketplace Consultant/Seller education, driving adoption, iterating the process and understanding the voice of the Seller.
  • Own Voice of the MC and Voice of Seller (VOS) for all execution driven through offshoring or automation.
  • Drive Advertising workstream WBR, SAS&Ads MBR and Value Creation WBR.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for resolving complex internal solutioning with offshoring or automation teams.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to drive process adoption, and continuously enhance customer experience (AM/MC and Seller).
  • Work backward from customer pain points and translate them into actionable improvement plans through offshoring or automation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience analyzing and improving the performance of a business.
  • Project and program management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  • Demonstrable data-driven decision making
  • Practical experience of Excel
  • Proven ability to work in international cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on, results-oriented mentality, combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, business or related areas
  • Experience in leading large scale projects and improvements
  • Experience collaborating with tech teams and building tech products
  • Practical experience of SQL
  • History of developing business strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
  • Experience in E-commerce marketing strategies
