After an exciting comeback of the brand and reveal of our latest product portfolio incl. cobots, AMRs and MMRs at IMTS 2024 in Chicago, we are now in search of talented and motivated Strategic Account Managers in North-East, Carolinas, Texas and California to join our team.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Strategic Account Manager at Rethink Robotics, Inc.

The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for driving the sales of our new robotics products within designated strategic accounts. You will work closely with key decision-makers to understand their unique needs and develop customized solutions that deliver exceptional value.

Travel will be required up to 70% of the time, including attending trade shows, collaborating with partners and visiting customer sites to ensure the implementation of a stable sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop strategic accounts: Research and identify potential high-value accounts within your assigned territory. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at these organizations
  • Understand customer needs: Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand customers’ pain points, business objectives, and technical requirements
  • Develop and execute sales strategies: Create and implement tailored sales plans to drive revenue growth within strategic accounts
  • Manage sales pipeline: Effectively manage your sales pipeline, ensuring that opportunities are qualified, nurtured, and closed in a timely manner
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with customers to close deals that meet revenue targets and company objectives
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our robotics product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer and partner interactions, ensuring continuous improvement of our products

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or similar degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in sales in the automation, robotics, high tech or electronics industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the robotics or technology industry
  • Strong understanding of the robotics market and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools
