Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Head of Sales professional. The head of sales role at Drip FC involves selling our signature grip socks and shin guards to youth, college and amateur / professional soccer clubs and leagues.
Responsibilities
- Identifying, negotiating, and selling Drip FC inventory.
- Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ business and marketing needs to deliver confident recommendations that engage and inspire.
- Nurture partner relationships at all levels from day-to-day contacts to executive decision makers through regular touchpoints, including but not limited to, email communication, and weekly status calls
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, activation best practices and new media marketing efforts.
- Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results.
- Lead the creation and presentation of client-ready materials, such as POVs, recommendations, and activation plans. This will include preparing marketing activation presentations and materials to be distributed to the client, agencies, and other counterparts
Qualifications
- A track record of successfully leading and growing partnerships by building strong relationships with both internal and external teams.
- Presentation skills, including the ability to lead discussions and interact with senior executives (internally and externally)
- Solid understanding of sponsorship activation including events, media, marketing rights, content, etc.
- Experience and understanding of the business of sports, sports media and sports marketing/ sponsorship is highly preferred.
- Relationship management skills both internally and externally, adapting to various personalities and working styles
- Must be highly motivated, proactive, self-starter with high energy and team spirit
- Sales and negotiation skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or partnerships roles in sports companies.
Compensation
This role is commission-based pay at 15% on deals closed, providing unlimited earning potential based on performance.
