About the Position

We have an amazing opportunity available for a passionate and experienced Senior Account Manager for Amazon to make a difference at Duracell. This Amazon role lies within the Europe & Africa Sector team.

You’ll be working within a high performing team, withpeers who are passionate about reaching new heights and building brands in the digital world.You will know how to win online shoppers and grow the business with online customers and specifically with Amazon.

You will report to the Head of E-commerce for our Europe & Africa Sector. Be ready for a lot of exposure to internal and external stakeholders. Growing our business and building our partnership with Amazon will be your main responsibility. You will also achieve great results by coordinating perfect execution with a set of local skilled e-commerce key account managers in our 5 biggest EU markets and have the support from the rest of the Sector ecommerce team on category projects, capabilities & tools.

Responsibilities

In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the Amazon account at EU level (80%+ of your time).
  • Accelerating our business with Amazon EU to drive both profitable & sustainable growth, with the aim of always building stronger partnerships.
  • Building a long-term strategy using data & insights to drive more visibility for our products.
  • Leading Amazon European go-to-market & negotiation to help Duracell grow disproportionately.
  • Supervising the operational execution at local level and create the right guidance to achieve this.
  • Strategically selecting & recommending the product range for each Amazon channel, ensuring that we have the best SKU mix, establishing the regional pricing structure as well as the best activation strategy & tools (search, promo,…). Working closely with our media agency.
  • Partnering with the Sector ecommerce team & all functions (Logistics, Finance, Marketing, Legal) to define best practices and build them into the Sector strategy to accelerate Amazon growth & contribution.
  • Staying up to date with the latest customer’s developments, eco-system and competitors’ activities, including 3P.
  • Supporting the development of your peers working on Amazon locally and across functions.
  • Tracking perfect execution, reporting business performance & recommending ongoing improvement plans.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • You have experience working for or with Amazon in the past.
  • You have experience in Electronics and/or FMCG.
  • You possess strong relationship management skills, both with customer & internal stakeholders.
  • You are an expert in analysis with the ability to turn data into impactful actions.
  • You have a proven track record in Sales, Negotiation Skills, reaching agreement & exceeding goals.
  • You can make commercial decisions based on judgement, often under significant time pressure.
  • You don’t get easily stressed by pressure, on the opposite, a demanding and dynamic environment is what keeps you energized.
  • You excel in managing complex projects across multiple functions and channels as well as various processes.
  • You have strong strategic thinking, problem solving & the ability to think outside the box or test & learn fast.
  • You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and minimum 5-7 years relevant work experience
  • You must be proficient in English. Spanish &/or French are also a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication & Presentation Skills
