Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Java Spring Boot Developer at DataSkate in Hyderabad. The Java Spring Boot Developer will be responsible for software development, working with microservices, programming, utilizing the Spring Framework, and Java development on a day-to-day basis.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Spring Boot Developer to join our innovative development team at CBL. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the development of high-quality Java Spring Boot applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust Java Spring Boot applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide design guidance.
• Architectural Design: Work alongside architects and stakeholders to create scalable and efficient software architectures.
• Problem Solving: Address complex technical challenges with innovative and effective solutions.
• Code Quality: Maintain high standards of code quality and ensure compliance with coding best practices.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of software solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design and code documentation.
• Production Support: Provide Level 2 (L2) support for production applications by troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly. Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Kafka Experience: Utilize Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven processing, adhering to best coding practices to produce clean and maintainable code.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software.
• Expertise in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with microservices architecture is highly desirable.
• Proficient in developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
