We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Finance Specialist to oversee the financial activities of the NPS Prism Brazil entity. This role focuses on managing accounting, treasury, and tax operations, reviewing financial processes, and collaborating with local stakeholders, while also interacting with teams in other countries. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Review tax implications for intercompany import services across various accounting providers.
  • Oversee and review monthly sales and credit tax for multiple countries.
  • Provide detailed Balance Sheet variance analysis to the Director of Finance.
  • Coordinate Accounts Payable (AP) activities for the Brazil entity in collaboration with the AP Specialist.
  • Conduct a final review of the preliminary trial balance.
  • Prepare and manage the Cost+ Monthly Invoice.
  • Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices, ensuring accuracy in revenue recognition.
  • Review reports of incoming intercompany entries and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Interface with internal and external clients in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Ensure timely reporting of government obligations.
  • Process monthly accruals and conduct accounting reconciliations.
  • Support treasury operations as needed.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries for the Brazil entity.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management, Controllership, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required).
  • 3-5 years of experience as a financial analyst or in accounting-related roles, preferably within an international company.
  • Working knowledge of Brazilian Tax legislation.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in revenue/accounts receivable is preferred.
  • Experience with financial tools and software (SAP experience preferred).

The position is predominantly remote, but the candidate needs to reside near São Paulo for occasional meetings at the office.
