This is your chance to join Auckland Council Libraries’ Online Engagement team as Content Lead.
In this role, you will provide oversight and best practice leadership to ensure a consistent and high-quality content experience on Libraries’ regional online channels. You’ll coordinate the delivery of regional library campaigns and initiatives and use insights and data to increase channel and campaign performance. You’ll also take a hands-on role in creating engaging digital content, including social media posts and Meta ads to support campaigns, particularly during high-demand periods. In addition, you’ll develop and refresh digital content guidelines, conduct regular channel reviews, and provide feedback and support to colleagues to ensure that policies and standards are understood and followed.
He kōrero mōu: About you
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, a passion for creating vibrant and engaging online content, and the ability to bring people together to deliver vibrant, consistent and customer-centric online content on libraries channels. You will be well-organised, work well under pressure and enjoy working collaboratively with subject matter experts. You will have extensive experience coordinating campaigns across multiple channels that are engaging, relevant and meet diverse user needs. You will also have experience using customer insights and data to apply changes and increase channel performance.
To be successful in this senior role, industry experience of at least five years in digital and marketing communications roles is required.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Due to the nature of the role, occasional work on the weekend may be required. The role offers some flexibility around hours of work and some work-from-home options.
