Project Control Engineer (Remote)

Job description / Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Control Engineer with 10-15 years of experience, preferably in the GCC region.

The key responsibilities will include developing project cost projections, performing cost analysis, preparing detailed reports for project and performance metrics to ensure successful project delivery.

This role requires an understanding of project management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various parties.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generates project cost reports and progress charts with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Prepares monthly escalation report and communicates schedule status to management.
• Handles cost engineering functions involving budget preparation/revision, cost control, forecasting and reporting.
• Handles current cost control database.
• Monitors, evaluates and updates project cost data on budgeted amounts.
• Evaluate project status against baseline schedules and assess the impact of changes or delays in design or construction.
• Reconciles and coordinates project cost data with management status reports.
• Preparing and updating project schedules.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of Cost Engineering Principles.
• Proficient in project planning and Primavera.

Experience:
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience.
• Experience with cost analysis and budget tracking.
• Strong background in engineering and financial analysis.

Education:
• BE (Civil Engineering) preferred
• Proficient in English language (written and spoken).

Salary:

OMR
1,700 to 2,100
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
