Senior Ms Developer Vba Un Agency (Remote)

For a United Nations Agency, NTT DATA is currently looking for a Senior MS365 Developer – VBA, in which the purpose of work is to enhance and maintain the secretariats budget tool, the document template and other office products that is using VBA.

And where you should be responsible for:

* Design and construction of O365 apps, Maintenance of existing O365 apps.

* Design and construction of system and infrastructure components,

* Design and provision of integration and interoperability with other systems.

* Design, construction and documentation of new systems and system components, satisfying UN’s functional and non-functional requirements and consistent with the design of other system components and the system architecture.

* Maintenance of systems, system components and documentation as part of defect fixing process.

* Potentially lead small teams of 2-5 Developers in the design and construction of the

system, showing ownership and responsibility for the team’s deliverables.

* Unit testing of system components to ensure they meet their specification.

* Planning and execution of technical aspects of System Test and System Integration Test.

* Providing developer support for other test phases.

* Tailoring, enhancing and adherence to UN standards, processes and methods for the development and maintenance of system components.

* Reviewing deliverables of Developers and other Senior Developers to ensure required quality standards are met.

* Reviewing deliverables of Developers and other Senior Developers to ensure required quality standards are met.

* Reporting progress and status of own work and team’s work.

Your profile:

* A minimum of 6 years commercial experience as a software developer.

* Excellent knowledge of VBA including the usage of office objects, of distributing products

containing VBA code and of information design, SQL relational databases.

* Experience of SharePoint Server-Side and Client-Side Object Model.

* Development on Apps and bespoke project specifications using the Microsoft SharePoint Development toolkit.

* Experience in Azure Development, e.g. Azure Functions.

* Experience with MS Power Platform – MS PowerApps, MS PowerAutomate and PowerBI

* Office 365 development.

* Experience with any third-party custom SharePoint tools.

* Custom Form Development – e.g. SPForms.

* Experience in CI/CD and development of advanced testing processes, e.g. Unit Testing.

* Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM).

* Expert knowledge of web technologies, thorough extensive working experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and at least one JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, React, Vue.JS, Bootstrap and AngularJS).

* Development within MS Teams.

* Automation – PowerAutomate and Azure LogicApps.

* API coding and MS Graph.

* An understanding of business process modelling.

* Experience with API driven development and single page application (SPA) development.

* Experience with Cycl (Formerly Colygon) MatchPoint.

* Strong understanding of client/server, relational database and web application concepts.

* Experience with agile methodologies like SCRUM.

* Fluent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

* Ability to follow and implement DevSecOps set of practices.

* Has completed successful projects using system integration methods and technologies.

* Must be a team player, experienced in working with others to achieve an objective.

* Experience in performing user acceptance testing and/or leading user acceptance testing exercises.

* Experience working in diverse, multicultural organisations.
