Location: Fully-remote (Work from home), 9 AM – 5 PM CST
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Content Creation: Edit long-form videos into short, impactful reels, shorts, and TikToks. Focus on capturing engaging moments to create compelling clips that hook the audience.
- Social Media Management: Manage posting schedules across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring consistent engagement and brand presence.
- Still Graphics Creation: Use Canva to design still graphics that align with the brand’s message and aesthetic.
- Faith-Based Content: Ensure all content reflects the organization’s faith-based ethos and core values.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop content that supports the overall brand strategy and stay current on social media trends.
- Audience Engagement: Respond to comments and build meaningful interactions with the online community.
What Success Looks Like:
- Increased Engagement: Grow the social media following and engagement through effective content creation and posting strategies.
- Creative Content: Deliver high-quality video edits and graphics that capture the essence of the organization’s mission.
- Platform Consistency: Maintain a consistent presence across all social media platforms with timely, relevant posts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a strong portfolio showcasing video editing and content creation.
- Video Editing Skills: Proficient in video editing software with expertise in creating short-form content from long-form videos.
- Graphic Design: Experience with Canva to create visually appealing graphics.
- Faith-Based Understanding: Comfortable working in a faith-based environment and aligning with the organization’s mission.
- Social Media Expertise: Experience managing multiple social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with the audience.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
