Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Remote Platform Engineer specializing in Linux to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise while contributing to critical infrastructure solutions in a collaborative remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Certify various hardware platforms and ensure the interoperability of diverse operating systems within intricate environments.
• Provide technical leadership in the installation and certification of supporting software and hardware, ensuring a robust deployment foundation for production implementations.
• Develop data architecture to support both production systems and backend data science tools.
• Recommend and design structures and tools for systems that align with business requirements while considering target environments, performance, and security needs.
• Adjust work schedules for maintenance and upgrades outside standard business hours, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• Advanced understanding of infrastructure technologies, including infrastructure services, platform technologies, and monitoring tools.
• Proficient in systematic and fact-based decision-making and problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for nurturing relationships among internal and external stakeholders, promoting a diversity of ideas and perspectives.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT engineering within an enterprise environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (4 years).
