Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to join our mission of providing early detection and precision-focused healthcare. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our partner clinical teams and play a significant part in training our multi-site Patient Navigators. Your contributions will be essential in educating patients about the advantages of genetic testing and early detection strategies. This position is fully remote; however, candidates must reside in California, ideally within the San Diego region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of over 10 Patient Navigators who support patients across multiple locations in California.
  • Champion patient advocacy by ensuring an exceptional experience in imaging centers throughout the state.
  • Optimize site operations to promote efficient patient flow and superior customer service, in collaboration with the Site Manager.
  • Invest in your team’s growth by developing and training Patient Navigators on best practices, equipping them with the skills necessary for success.
  • Oversee daily management tasks, including performance monitoring, attendance management, and conducting evaluations.
  • Facilitate local travel, committing a minimum of 50% of workdays to this purpose.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership abilities in managing nonexempt/hourly employees.
  • Bilingual proficiency to effectively engage with diverse patient populations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to evolving environments and operational needs.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a healthcare setting is required.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare facility is essential.
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time is mandatory.
