Applications Developer Required Security Clearance (Remote)

We are seeking a proficient and motivated Applications Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. This pivotal role is essential for enhancing our cybersecurity, intelligence, and service offerings. As an Applications Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing functional business applications and creating specifications that support our critical mission activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance software by writing, testing, and debugging new applications or updates to current systems.
• Maintain and improve existing software products through consistent upkeep and enhancements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve software-related issues effectively.
• Provide customer support by addressing inquiries, responding to suggestions, and implementing necessary improvements.
• Produce technical documentation, including block diagrams, logic flowcharts, and maintain version control of software.
• Oversee project management tasks, including developing project schedules and managing timelines efficiently.
• Work closely with security teams for project certification and accreditation processes.
• Document and communicate requirements through reports and briefings that support customer missions.
• Train system users on software operation and maintenance procedures.
• Conduct research and testing to ensure software updates and patches are correctly implemented and functional.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with official messaging systems and web-based email client/server applications.
• Experience integrating business processes into custom email applications.
• Knowledge of PKI key and LDAP implementation.
• Ability to connect web applications with remote relational databases.
