We are seeking a talented and experienced Remote Senior Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the development of automated decision engines while employing agile engineering practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong programming foundation and a commitment to delivering high-quality, clean code.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with credit analysts and data scientists to interpret business objectives and convert them into user stories and testable designs.
• Implement credit strategies and guidelines into an automated decision-making framework.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of credit strategy implementations with business requirements and overall architecture.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs along with functional tests utilizing diverse frameworks.
• Provide timely research and resolution of issues.
• Assist in the documentation of technical aspects related to our decision engine implementation.
• Operate within an agile environment focused on rapid development and prototyping.

Required Skills

• Solid programming knowledge in languages such as JavaScript and Python.
• Strong understanding of data structures.
• Familiarity with automated decision engines like Blaze, PowerCurve, Zoot, or Provenir is a significant advantage.
• Experience with API specification tools like Swagger-OAS or RAML is beneficial.
• Exceptional communication abilities to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong passion for writing clean and error-free code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technology-related field such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Development, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional development experience, including hands-on experience with agile engineering methodologies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
