The Position 

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with 3+ years’ experience.  You will experiment, design, develop and maintain models, analyze data sets and make sure our production models continue to perform to our standards. The position is fully remove with +/- 2 hours in the CET time zone.

Scope 

• Build, train, evaluate, and deploy ML models and generative AI (GAI) solutions supporting Trendio’s plans and operations 
• Query, integrate, analyze, and preprocess rich and complex datasets (both structured and unstructured) to extract relevant features and insights 
• Support operational excellence through practices like code review and pair programming. 
• Actively monitor different applications and their infrastructure and intervene to solve operational problems whenever they arise. 
• Keep up with developments in the wide field of AI / Machine Learning. 

Skills 

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience 
• High level of Python and machine learning framework knowledge (i.e. Keras, Pytorch)
• Affinity with data analysis 
• Pre-existing knowledge or experience with machine learning modelling. LLM knowledge is a plus 
• Experience with designing and building machine learning tooling and infrastructure for training, deploying, inference and validation of models. 
• Interest in Generative AI 
• Professional English 

Nice to have 

• Knowledge in other technologies and languages, i.e. Typescript, Django, GraphQL 
• Experience with AWS services. 
• Degree in AI / Data Science
