Our client is the developer of a patented medical technology for knee and hip rehabilitation that enables patients to recover 50% faster, benefiting patients, medical facilities, and payors.

The client is hiring for this position because there is a growing demand within the team as the company continues to expand, and they need this person to assist on a project that will last for at least 3 months (with the possibility of being extended).

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in front-end development, a deep understanding of modern web technologies, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js, including components, Hooks, and lifecycle methods.
• Proficiency in state management using Hooks, Context API, and libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility, utilizing HTML, CSS, and UX/UI design principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, including how to integrate and consume them in frontend applications.
• Experience with Node.js and NPM for package management, build processes, and development workflows.
• Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
• Experience with MySQL databases, including basic CRUD operations.
• Experience with Docker for both development and deployment environments.
• Familiarity with Next.js for building server-side rendered applications.
• Experience maintaining and improving legacy code, particularly in PHP (Laravel) and Python.

Team

You will be reporting to the Manager of the team, and there are currently 30 people in the IT team.

Timezone

It would be ideal for the candidate to be available between around 9am to 5pm EST
