About your role
We are currently looking for a Sales Administrator to join our Sales Team for a six (6) month fixed term contract. This position is available due to a parental leave; reporting and providing a high level of administration support to the Director of Sales and Sales team to contributing to the team’s overall performance.
What you’ll do
- Support the achievement of sales targets and profit margins in line with VWFS Planning Rounds and Business Plans.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with existing and prospective customers, including key external stakeholders in the market and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the control of customer and prospect databases and sales pipelines; compile reporting monthly and when required, consolidate team wins and track lost business.
- Work with the Director of Sales to develop and support ongoing marketing initiatives and sales campaigns.
- Liaison with other VWFS teams in particularly the Fleet Sales Team to assist with cross business opportunities and the dealer network.
- Have a wide understanding of the Volkswagen Group Australia and Audi Australia products.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in a related discipline (preferred).
- Effective sales management techniques, tools and processes.
- Ability to deliver customer focused solutions in an impactful way.
- Application of negotiation skills and tools both individually and within a team.
- Manage an effective customer first business planning approach.
- Intermediate level of proficiency required with Microsoft suite of products especially excel.
- Stakeholder Management – an ability to develop and sustain positive & cooperative working relationships at all levels of the organisation and engage in challenging conversations.
- Ability and willingness to drive change, challenge current ideas and contribute to best practice standards across VWFS Australia.
- Sales and/or Financial Services experience is preferable.
