Our client is a forward-thinking pre-IPO startup in the B2B FinTech space, developing a cutting-edge platform designed to meet the unique needs of enterprises and financial institutions, driving efficiency and growth through enhanced collaboration. As they continue to scale, they’re searching for a Lead Product Designer to lead the design vision and ensure the platform delivers a seamless and impactful user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the overall design vision for the platform, ensuring that new features and updates are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
• Build and maintain a robust, scalable design system that ensures consistency across the platform as it evolves, focusing on the unique requirements of Institutional Financial Services users.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance across the design team.
• Work closely with senior leadership, Product Management, and the engineering team to ensure designs are technically feasible, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
• Engage in hands-on design tasks such as creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, and lead design reviews to ensure the highest design quality standards.
• Develop and implement design workflows and processes that enhance efficiency, foster collaboration, and ensure compliance with industry standards, particularly within the financial sector.

Ideal Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in UI/UX design and design systems, preferably within complex sectors to design for with several components.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale design projects, with a proven track record of mentoring designers and driving strategic initiatives.
• Deep expertise in building and maintaining design systems for digital products, especially within B2B or FinTech environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma and other design tools, with a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for creating user-centered designs.
• Ability to think strategically and align design initiatives with broader business objectives, with a strong understanding of the FinTech landscape and the unique needs of institutional clients.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you’ll need to be proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with a focus on delivering high-impact results.
