Overview
The Digital Outreach and Content Strategist is responsible for developing, managing, and executing social media strategy while seeking opportunities to further advance the brand through online campaigns, affiliate programs, stakeholder engagement, digital marketing outreach, and growing social media channels.

The goals for the role will be to continue to drive and grow brand awareness amongst new and current audiences via social media, increase online engagement, build our affiliate program, and boost sales through strategic social media efforts.

Duties

  • Edit, schedule, publish, and share engaging social media content daily (static photos/ graphics, videos) on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).
  • Leverage the affiliate community by maintaining relationships and building new connections through social media engagement, giveaways, and more. Maintain our TikTok Affiliate Sample Request program daily by approving samples, pushing orders through, and ensuring content is delivered.
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers, increase sales, and measure, analyze, and report on progress.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar, which includes digital campaigns, social media strategy, and performance objectives. Our post frequency is 1 post per day on Facebook and Instagram and 2-3 posts on TikTok weekly.
  • Collaborate with graphic design, video, and other departments to strategize and create unique and engaging content.
  • Monitor all social media platforms and brand mentions and engage where appropriate. Respond to customer and affiliate messages and post comments on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Track and report on the performance of paid digital advertising campaigns.
  • Edit and create online web, social media, and other digitally formatted videos.
  • Work with marketing team members to gather metrics to measure and report on performance and make adjustments where needed.
  • Stay current with current technologies and trends in social media, digital advertising, design tools, and applications.

Skills

  • At least 5 years combined professional experience in digital marketing, social media content strategy; commercial social media, or web-based customer engagement. Background in leveraging Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Shop for affiliate outreach and brand awareness.
  • Expertise using social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and social media management software.
  • Fluent in the English language.
  • Strong writing and copy-editing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Ability to understand the customer avatar.
  • Must have a working internet connection and computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
