Storm4 is partnered with a large EPC organization in the US that focuses on design, management and construction of utility scale solar projects. They deliver turnkey solar solutions, working with both utility-scale and commercial projects to promote clean, renewable energy.
Their pipeline is growing so they are building out their team and are very interested in Project Managers with construction experience in utility scale solar. This position requires 7+ years of utility scale solar construction experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple utility-scale solar and BESS projects simultaneously across the US.
- Establish, implement, and manage the project safety program to maintain a safe work environment, actively promoting a safety-focused culture by serving as a mentor and role model.
- Regularly conducts site safety inspections, participates in progress meetings, reviews incidents, near-misses, HSE reports, and relevant statistics, initiating necessary changes to uphold safety standards, legislative requirements, and environmental guidelines.
- Develops or supervises the creation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) alongside the superintendent.
- Manages and coordinates the design deliverable schedule to support permitting, procurement, shop drawings, off-site production, construction, and commissioning, with client review and approval.
- Oversees the project team, client representatives, consultants, and trade contractor relationships, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years utility-scale solar construction experience.
- In-depth knowledge and application of health, safety, and environment principles/procedures/legislation.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, safety and quality management practices for large, complex, and more diverse projects.
- Ability to monitor complex project budgets and schedules, and create and schedule a project.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
