Php Team Lead (Remote)

The client is the world’s leading provider of online legal information for consumers and small businesses. It is the industry leader in internet marketing solutions for law firms. They provides services and tools to connect people with legal issues to the right professionals who are ready to help. The project encapsulates web applications and services, standalone and desktop apps and tools, CMS systems.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead / WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be leading both the technical and management aspects of our web development projects, from initial requirement gathering to the successful deployment of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and oversee a team of developers, guiding them through project phases and ensuring a collaborative and productive environment
• Project Management: Define project goals, timelines, and deliverables, maintaining a clear communication line with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Technical Expertise: Lead the back-end and front-end development of high-traffic WordPress websites, including custom module and plugin development
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all implemented solutions meet or design and functionality requirements through rigorous testing and debugging procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading development teams with a strong grasp of project management fundamentals
• Solid background in PHP, WordPress, and MySQL in developing complex web applications
• Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, and associated development/deployment tools (e.g., Gulp, Grunt)
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with familiarity with tools like Chrome Dev Tools
• Expert knowledge in crafting semantic HTML and CSS for responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Proficiency in WordPress plugin installation, configuration, and maintenance
• A keen eye for identifying web development issues and implementing effective solutions
• Demonstrated ability to foster meaningful relationships across functional teams
