Lead Appian Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a skilled Lead Appian Developer to enhance our team.

This position entails the creation, development, and deployment of superior technical solutions utilizing the Appian BPM Suite while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to fulfill our clients’ business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design technical solutions on the Appian BPM suite based on collected requirements
• Address integration requirements with external platforms
• Handle tasks efficiently to complete work autonomously
• Decompose user stories into manageable components during sprint planning and estimation
• Implement design and coding best practices in constructing components and solutions
• Execute unit, integration, and performance tests
• Perform peer-level code reviews
• Proactively identify potential problems and work with the team to resolve them
• Maintain adherence to and advocate for best practice standards
• Provide mentorship to other developers and encourage peer collaboration
• Assist stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Enablement, and Design teams, with Data-related technical issues and infrastructure requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years of comprehensive IT experience with Proficiency in Java/J2EE
• Minimum 3 years of focused Appian development experience
• Expertise in Appian components such as CDTs, process designers, and interface building
• Proficiency in SAIL language
• Strong background in databases
• Familiarity with Appian Admin configuration and integrations
• Competency in Webservices, BPM, and Agile framework
• Experience in programming/debugging for business applications
• Understanding of industry practices and standards
• Knowledge of specific business areas for application development
• Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Appian L1, L2 certification
• Fluency in English
